Dear CT-ACDA,

2020 was a year of incredible challenge, transition, tragedy - as well as one of ingenuity, resilience and triumph. I stand in complete awe of all that you, our members, have accomplished. It is deeply inspiring how you have connected, reinvented and continued to create music during this time.

The CT-ACDA Executive Board met on January 10th to plan and discuss what is on the horizon for the CT-ACDA in 2021, and I would like to share that with you.

In this newsletter, you will see information and links for the following:

  • Reflections on what the CT-ACDA experienced and accomplished in 2020

  • Information and links for participation with our upcoming ELECTION for President-Elect

  • The ACDA National Conference Promotion (Registration is open until Jan. 27th!)

  • ACDA @CMEA offerings during the Annual In-Service Conference (Mach 27-28)

  • Information regarding the establishment of a new CT-ACDA committee, focusing on Diversity Initiatives, as well as the establishment of a Chair for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

It is time for ACTION:
